Willesden Junction from Station Road: 20 May 2011

The area immediately around the station doesn't seem to have been developed much since the end of the 19th century with the exception of constant traffic.

There is an interesting group of Brazilian businesses close by including a finance company, a lingerie shop, a grocery store and I enjoyed a cup of coffee in a café that was showing a Brazilian game show on the television.

    I really do like the shorthand you have managed to develop with these drawings, they seem to becoming more and more confident as you go along.

    I am still at the stage of over thinking and I just end up confused. When my new shift schedule starts in 2 wks time, I think I will try and find a secluded place where I can draw something interesting. That might help a bit.

    Thanks Jacqui, Urban Sketchers are a new name to me - I'll look them up. Good luck with finding a nice spot to draw, I hope you let us see what you produce in time.
